Last weekend I travelled with Mental As Anything to New Zealand’s south island to play a gig at the Snapafest Festival. This was in Nelson, which is known for its fishing industry.

While driving from the airport to our hotel I spotted what looked like “Gilligans Island” near Nelson, NZ.
After checking into the hotel I had a walk around town. Thursday evening in downtown Nelson.

As we couldn’t take our regular guitar amps with us this was my hire amp for the gig, a piggyback Vox AC30.
