Day 3 in Italy.
We met up with Lorenzo, the owner of the Surfer Joe Diner and organiser of the Surfer Joe Festival. I’ll see him again in California at the SG101 Festival where he’s playing with his band.
We headed out to Piza. Then Jim needed help with his guitar so we visited a luthier.
Mauro the luthier was very helpful. You should visit him if you’re ever in need of guitar repairs in Italy.
On to soundcheck.
We caught up with Unsteady Freddie from New York, he’s the MC of the festival and a fantastic supporter of surf music.
Then the gig. The crowd was great. We played two encores.
